The Best of Both Worlds.....and more

Thanks to everyone for all the comments on my last post. I have a lot to think about and I appreciate all the advice. I really wish I could keep my kids in a bubble their whole lives. Well, I have a lot to write about so I better get started...
This is my first "good mail" package I got from Kristi for being close to getting the answer right on her blog contest about the hope diamond. It was so fun to get this package. I love all the ribbon.
This is a picture from the Hannah Montana Concert I took Emily and Hannah to on January 22. They had such a good time. I guess I was lucky to get the tickets. I was just at my computer and bought them as soon as they went on sale, but I later found out that everyone else I knew that tried to buy them weren't able to. I got 4 tickets and ended up taking Hannah and Emily's best friend, Kylee, with us. The girls were all so excited. I had fun watching them during the concert as they would be standing up singing to all the songs. Usually concerts are loud because of the music, but the high pitched screetching sounds coming from all the tweens in the audience was piercing my ears. I was sure there would be packs of dogs outside the arena when we left because of all those high pitched sounds. We ended up with pretty good seats. We were almost straight back and could see the stage almost directly in front of us (we were just a little to the side). Since we were on the 1st level, it was theater seating so no one was directly in front of us (unlike the floor seats), but we weren't too high that we were looking down on the stage either. I think we really lucked out with the seats. The girls had such a good time and they told me it was the best day of their lives. I'm so glad I got to go with them and experience their excitement.Emily and Hannah

Tessa, Dad, and Bridget

Tessa turned 9 months today (2/10/08). I tried to get a good picture, but this was the best of about 7 I took. Oh well! She's so fun! She's teething right now and that's painful for her, but she still is a good baby. She is crawling like crazy and climbs up stuff to standing position on everything. I can't believe how fast she got mobile. It seems like one day she could barely sit up on her own and the next she was crawling everywhere. She's such a sweetheart.
Well, I have lots more to write about since it's been so long, but I'm tired and need to get some sleep.
